Guillermo tiene raíces familiares en el estado de Chiapas.
Graduado en la Licenciatura en Sistemas Computacionales en Guadalajara, Jalisco. Estudio múltiple diplomados en diferentes áreas como Costos e Inventarios, Finanzas, Automatización, e Inteligencia Artificial. Más de 20 años de formación, iniciando su carrera como Desarrollador de sistemas y otros puestos ascendentes en su carrera lo cual le llevo a laborar principalmente en empresas corporativas como Arancia, HP, Siemens, Emergys, Lenovo, Credit Suisse.
Actualmente labora en Credit Suisse en Raleigh y es gerente mundial de Capacidades de infraestructura de Cómputo en Data Centers para garantizar la operación y demanda futura del banco a nivel mundial.
Llegó a USA en Enero del 2005 y desde entonces colabora con diferentes organizaciones sin fines de lucro para buscar el bienestar social principalmente para Mexicanos residentes en USA y en México.
